Okapi Sciences to Haasrode business park

Okapi Sciences has rented 400 m² in the former Remy Automotive building in Haasrode for their expanding offices and laboratory space.

Okapi Sciences is a spin-off of the Universities of Leuven and Liège and the Academy of Sciences in Prague. The company aims to develop drugs to treat viral infections in both pet animals and livestock. Viral infections remain a threat to animal health and food production as classical vaccination is often impossible, ineffective or unavailable. The use of antivirals is a new strategy to address an unmet need. Okapi Sciences has a pipeline of several drugs that are close to market (3-5 years).
